Try it right here
Drop in a logo, sketch, or clipart. The preview is free ("Draw it" needs no account at all); the clean file is Pro.
Pick the right mode for your project
The right SVG depends on what your machine will do with it, so the converter has three modes instead of one-size-fits-all.
Draw it (single line). For pen plotters and Cricut pens. Instead of outlining your sketch, it finds the centerline of every stroke, the path a pen would actually take, so an X stays two crossing lines and letters stay writing instead of bubbles. Use it for line art, doodles, signatures, and anything you want drawn, not cut.
Cut one color. For vinyl, cardstock, and stickers. Your image becomes one solid shape with holes where they belong, so the file cuts and weeds cleanly on a Cricut or Silhouette. Great for logos and silhouettes.
Cut layered colors. For layered vinyl and cardstock projects. Each color in the image becomes its own clean layer, with tiny specks and fuzzy in-between shades absorbed instead of turning into confetti you would have to weed. Small-but-important details like eyes and whiskers survive.
Why the output stays clean
Free auto-tracers tend to produce thousands of jagged points that look fine on screen and terrible on a mat. This converter fits smooth curves through your shapes with sharp corners kept genuinely sharp, removes specks below a size a cutter could even handle, and fills pinholes. The preview shows exactly what you will download, so nothing is a surprise after you cut.
Plotting the result? Run it through the plotter SVG optimizer afterwards so the pen draws it in the fewest possible moves.

Questions, answered
Can I use this to make cut files for Cricut?
Yes. Choose the cut mode and you get a filled SVG where each color becomes its own layer, so it cuts cleanly on Cricut and Silhouette and weeds without a mess.
What is the single-line option for?
It traces your image as one continuous pen line instead of a filled shape, which is exactly what pen plotters and the Cricut pen need to draw, rather than cut, your design.
How is this different from uploading the image straight into Design Space?
Design Space's upload keeps the image as a picture to print or a rough cut path. This converter produces a true vector: smooth curves, sharp corners, specks removed, and for drawing, real pen centerlines Design Space cannot make.
Can it make layered SVGs for vinyl?
Yes. The layered mode splits your image into one clean layer per color, absorbing anti-aliasing fuzz and specks that would otherwise become tiny unweedable pieces.
Does it work for Silhouette and other cutters?
Yes. The output is a standard SVG, so Silhouette Studio, Cricut Design Space, and laser or plotter software all read it.
What image types work best?
Clean logos, line art, and simple sketches convert best. Busy photos can be traced too, but simpler images give the cleanest, most usable vectors.
Is the preview free?
Yes. You can upload and preview the result for free. A Pro subscription removes the watermark and unlocks the clean download.
